These fees are subject to change without notice and may vary from state to state based on applicable laws. The guiding principle is to charge only when there are material third party costs on our side like mailing documents or NSF fees.

A fee assessed when a payment is rejected or returned due to nonsufficient funds in the originating bank account

Late Charge

A fee assessed for a payment received after the applicable grace period expiration

An amount is assessed in accordance with mortgage loan documents and/or typically up to 5% of monthly installment in accordance with state rules

Assumption, Transfer of Ownership, and/or Release of Liability

A fee assessed for processing and updating our records regarding the assumption of an existing mortgage loan and/or the release of liability of an existing homeowner

Up to $900, in addition to out-of-pocket and third-party expenses for processing the transaction

Partial Release, Easement, or Subordination Fee

A fee assessed for a partial lien release, easement, or subordination request

Recording Fee

A fee assessed when a loan is paid off to legally record the deed, mortgage and documents related to a loan

Reconveyance Fee

A fee assessed when Valon Mortgage is required to determine the condition of the property

Property Preservation Fees & Costs

A fee assessed in relation to preservation, restoration and protection of the property

A fee assessed to process a re-amortization upon a homeowner’s request
